Hey everyone !
So I am leading / planing my frist event with personality disorders and I'm super excited for love yourself week.
I blame @suBSea for encouraging me to make this thread for more information on it. It was her idea 😄
The love yourself week came from thinking about how much one should love themselves but how we struggle with this. Before we can love others we need to love ourselves .
The event will run from the 10th to the 16th of February . Each day has a theme. The purpose of the theme is to have the same thing in both the forums , feed and sessions on that chosen day.
If you would like to get involved, please contact me.
If you have any feedback or ideas you can post them here or contact me. 💓 Not sure if that is little information 😄

@Kate - what is the best way for communities to get events listed on the masterpost before it is published? Should they reach out to you directly or is there a form that can be filled out? Thanks!
cc: @AffyAvo

Healthy Living Celebrates this Every year with an Event and badges..... I don't see that listed as something celebrated in February unless I overlooked it?
@PoliteOcean We not had this one listed , great that healthy living are doing something for it. Do let us know what you are doing so we can include it in the weekly checkin <3.
Hey @Kate
Aside from helping out with Eating Disorder Awareness Week, another day that I am interested in doing something for is Time to Talk Day, which is February 7th. It is pretty soon, so i'm not entirely sure of the size of the event - maybe just a feed tag or something. Although it is a primarily UK based event, with a UK mental health charity - this day is all about speaking about mental health and promoting that change! I'd love to do something about why we talk about mental health
I know that outside of 7 Cups, I will be doing lots of events relating to this day through other organisations and thought it may be nice to have a reminder about why its so so important to raise awareness, and talk about mental health! I shall think more about it, but I'd love for as many people to join in with the tag as possible! If anybody is interested, than please let me know and I can message/tag you when the post is up! It is time to talk so we can change the future
I'll post about Eating Disorder Awareness Events, when we have more of a concrete plan, but exciting things are be planned!
@emsworld I agree we should do something for time to talk day...... maybe could encourage people do open chats just encouraging people to talk. Something on feed ? Maybe forum post about why its important to speak out?
Hey @fluffyUnicorns84
That sounds like a good plan! I'll try and get something drafted to do maybe a feed tag.
forum post about why its important to speak out?
I think the forum post sounds like a great idea to create conversation! I'm sure everybody has a reason to speak out about mental illness, so it will be great to have a post sharing things and building a discussion!
Open Chats are always good, I'll try and host some and spread the word that moderators/doorkeepers could open the rooms up and encourage that conversation aha!
