@WolfGirlKari Also Diabete's month with the specific day being Nov 14.
@AffyAvo epilepsy awareness day isn't until March 26
@Kate november the 11th is Armistice day it would actually also mark the 100th year since ww1
also as STL for anxiety we arent planning huge events til january for phobia awareness month
November 11 is Remembrance Day in many countries. I think that may be more applicable for an international sight as it's focus is a bit different than Veterans Day, plus isn't recognized in just 1 country as I think Veterans Day is (correct me if I'm wrong).
@Kate
I don't think I am really working on any event this month but I would be more than happy to help out with any events that need some help or some extra people for this month!!
Motiv and Self Help Subcomm plans to help out with Cupsgiving. We'll be doing some feed ice breakers and a turkey hand picture forum icebreaker where participants can post their turkey hand drawings/works and discuss them. We may do more but not sure at this time.
Is anyone doing anything for Stress Awareness Day on Wednesday?
@Kate my Thursday session is understanding stress.
