Books on Mental Health
Would people here like to share useful books they've read on Mental Health? I love to read and would love getting recommendations.
The book I recommend is The Worry Cure by Robert Leahy.
@Creamyyy I agree, The Worry Cure is excellent.
There are some more in my Listeners' Reading List (which members can access too).
I think the term mental health is sometimes used to refer to life's struggles in a general way, even for people who might have no diagnosable mental illness, and of course worry is not actually a mental illness. A couple of well known books about how to cope better with life's difficulties are: How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big by Scott Adams, and 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos by Jordan Peterson. (Interestingly, both these authors are controversial for other reasons and have been widely "cancelled".)
