@tommy I am reading Shantaram. honestly, I read one-third then my semester resumed so havent been able to get around it much lately. I have never been to Mumbai myself until recently but I like the way it is being portrayed for the reader. A raw and autonomous Mumbai. So last flight I took I decided take the long way route through Mumbai and was able to spend a good few hours around Mumbai with a Bihari rikshawdriver, my tour guide. I intent to find out what happens next in Shantaram and where it takes me next.

THE KITE RUNNERR....It's soo good. I'm just finishing it. It's very emotional book. Idk what's wrong w me, I hate and cry whenever I finish an emotional book but I like them soo much too.

You might like Uglies, they’re dystopian novels like the others, but not too intense <3 Just ***TW*** on the sequels, because they might be triggering.

Wind up bird chronicle by Haruki Murakami.
It's a mix of magical realism, supernatural, philosophy, relationships (loneliness, cheating and etc etc), historical (mention of ww2), modern times and finding your self through perseverance and mystry solving which is not really a normal one. Its aweied book with weird characters and I love it 💙

First let me start off with.....
I have never been big into reading books, I hated to even read while in school and have only read about 5 books cover to cover since high school (graduated in '83)
I've had a paperback packed away ever since I was 16, and finally purchased the larger print version back in Dec. 24. It was given to me by one of my neighbours and he raved about the book.
Dhalgren By Samuel R. Delaney
Took me 5 months to finally read it, I love sci-fi and this novel certainly did not disappoint.
