My first book?.Don't remember 🤷 I was maybe two... What do you expect?

Always loved reading from that moment I stared at pictures in books as a baby...so out if question as well.

But I do remember my first 'adult' book without too many pictures. I struggled to read it at the time as I was just six. It was a famous five book. 'The Five in Kirrin Island's. My dad read the entire book to me in three days as a bedtime storybook... And that's how I fell into the deep pit of reading addiction 🤣

@Optimisticempath

The legit first novel I fell in love with was "Maybe in Paris" by Christiansen, Rebbeca. I loved how Keira brought her autism/mental illness brother to Paris, but Keira's brother was always picky about things while being in Paris. But a really good book, I read that book in a day. I would highly suggest this book! :)

The first book I remember reading, re-reading and loving was "The Glorious Flight," about Louis Bleriot building planes and flying across the English Channel in 1909. https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/400502

My mom also read aloud to me and my siblings a lot; we went through the Chronicles of Narnia at least two or three times.

@Optimisticempath The first book I read was "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare. However, the book that got me in love with reading was "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor M. Dostoevsky.

Bonus: My current favorite books are "No Longer Human" by Osamu Dazai, and "Demian" by Hermann Hesse.

The first books that got me into reading was the Junie B. Jones series in 1st grade. It progressed from there to A Series of Unfortunate Events, Goosebumps, etc
