A Mother's Love & Grief
In a garden of love, a mother's heart blooms,
Her gaze, a sunbeam that tenderly looms.
With arms like branches, a cradle of grace,
She nurtures the bud in a warm embrace.
Mother: "My darling, a lullaby in the night,
Whispers of love, a comforting light.
In your laughter, the stars find their song,
A melody sweet, where you belong."
Child: "Mama, your love, a soft, gentle stream,
Carries me through, like a cherished dream.
In your eyes, reflections of skies so blue,
A world of wonder, forever anew."
But in shadows cast by life's cruel design,
A tempest may come, stealing the sunshine.
Mother: "Oh, my heart, in sorrow it weeps,
A torrent of tears, in silence it seeps.
A tempest has taken you, my sweet dove,
Leaving behind a void, a blackened cove."
Child: "Mama, though gone, I'm a part of the breeze,
Caressing your cheek, rustling through trees.
In memories held, find solace and peace,
In the love we shared, let your grief cease."
Mother: "Yet, in the night, I yearn for your face,
Longing to hold you, in a warm embrace.
Grief, a storm that rages, relentless and wild,
A mother's love, forever and aching, my child."
Child: "Mama, like stars, I'll eternally gleam,
In the canvas of dreams, like a radiant beam.
Hold onto love, let it heal and mend,
For even in death, love has no end."
