Do you love or hate Valentine's Day?
It's a toss up for me. I do think people tend to go overboard with it, and those who are not single/ don't have a Valentine are especially hurt.
However, there are the sales on candy/chocolate the day after which I look forward to lol.

I personally do enjoy the concept of sharing your love to others or a specific person and celebrating your feelings 
however, i think it is a bit stereotyped. Like, you can also share your love to your best friend or family member or the kind neighbor next door who always greets you!
But i d say... I love it more than i hate it definitely!!!
Im not a fan of it. As is, people make out in the hallways or lunch enough, and it just rubs it in that Im lonely and that no one has ever liked me that way, so its a struggle.
Personally, I hate the commercialization of ALL holidays.
I prefer to show my genuine love and care when I feel the desire and need to express myself.
Doing this feels like it comes from the heart and soul
rather than from a calendar or Hallmark Cards telling me to do so...
@Kate This is nice Kate. Thank you for posting it. Personally, neither I love nor hate Valentine Day because it is my usual day.
@Kate My answer is yes. Sometimes I love V-Day .... and other times I do really hate it. As of Monday (yesterday) my hatred of Valentines Day this year has increased. But today I got a bunch of new-to-me "old" romantic-comedy movies - borrowed from the library ... so that could be something to DO at least 
and laundry 
It seems like there is always more laundry to wash/dry. I might try to get my SFO to snuggle with me on the couch - but he does not seem to like that very much any more (big sad face), So maybe instead I'll join him on the floor and we can have a nap. I'm unsure of the forecast, but maybe we'd even have sunshine-through-the-window to sleep in. Especially on cold days, warm sunlight through the glass windows is very calming.
I wish I could borrow somehow a litter of puppies. Hey guys, I'll puppy-sit for you!? It is hard to be sad or feeling down with 6-15 puppies climbing on you and licking your face and hands and feet! and any skin they can find! ... So I guess I have a lot of ideas of what to do on Valentine's Day ... I wish I had someone to do these things with! ~ Platy
