I am suffering from depression. I have been medicating for more than a year. But I feel like I am not getting any better. My biggest struggle is that I can't fully open up to my psychiatrist and I don't always tell her the things that bother me most.
@masochisticmoviebuff do you have a close friend or family member that you completely trust, and has been there while you have had the bad days and the good days?
If you do, ask them to attend your psychiatrist session as moral support, and as they will have an understanding of what you are going through, and can provide feedback from an external source.

The biggest struggle I face is the inability to express myself.
@Itsokay091 this is very unfortunate, have you tried an excersize from the 7 Cups self help area of the app?
@ASilentObserver
Loving myself and stopping believing that I deserve people to hurt me
Deal with my Problems without drugs or alcohol

losing control. i recognise that i cannot control everything, but when things start building up, i start spiralling. it feels as if i'm separate to my emotions and my body, which makes it difficult to regain the control i once had.
Low self esteem and really relationships
@determinedSummer25 really unstable*
that i would never be special...

One of the biggest things I have to do with mental health in general is seeing councellors, services and therapists that sit there quiet every session and dont give much input and having to repeat lifes traumas time and time again going over stuff like a record thats stuck in a loop, because of lack of them doing the dam research and backreading before taking clients on.
It sets the client back months if not years of prolonged repetitiveness when treatment could be acted upon much sooner and traumas and issues dealt with in great detail by working through them a bit at a time each session.
SO Councellors, Therapists take note, Ask questions, make notes, then work on each issue with the client to its best outcome going right through it till its conclusion, which is the support we should all be getting, don't just sit there and obsurve and listen and have very little imput otherwise your simply milking the job and prolonging mental health for everybody.

That I keep being told the word "no" and I just don't get why everyone can't use the word "yes" for a change instead. I feel like relationships are breaking down on 7cups since people should be able to say yes to some of my questions and request since they are good for members and keeping them safe and I am trying to build relationships and feel like others are trying to break them down. Some of us have been talking about leaving which some members are scared that we might. I have enough of that in the real world and don't need it online also.
nobody really understands how i feel inside , i just want to have him as a "friend" but each time i meet him my ❤ turns a different way knowing that he's not the man for me . sometimes i really wanted to give a tight hug , so 😨 he might reject or stop me from doing that . well this is me , 😞
