To me Love means.......[share what it means to you]
a waste of tym....except that love which we give to our parents,siblings and friends
To me, Love means... Knowing the darkest parts of someone, and still choosing to accept them.
For me personally it means wanting them to be happy, understanding them, enjoying their personality, wanting to comfort them when theyre low, and wanting to be the best version of myself for them and myself. Its big.
Love is the only feeling which is purely selfless. The moment you start feeling for someone, caring for someone with no personal agenda or interest for yourself, that is what is love for me.
To me love means feeling safe, getting that welcome buzz of exictment when you see someone you like, or being content in a moment. Love means that smell that you can't find everywhere but makes you stop and smile. Love is that one color that you've found joy in that you didn't see before, or the feeling of safe disconnection when reading something exciting. Love can be sounds that help calm you in panic or give you a warm feeling in the pit of your stomach. I don't think love is quite as hard to find as some people may think.
Love is about a lot of things, but choice is a big part of it. Even the best of relationships include disagreements/fights/arguments etc. To me, Love is about chooosng your partner in that moment of frustration. Its saying Im angry with you right now, but ultimately I choose you. Thats what makes couples last... not just love, but to CHOOSE to keep loving when they do things that arent super lovable. Love also means support, acceptance, intimacy, encouragement, partnership, honesty, trust, and especially Respect.
Being comfortable with one another without judgement. And being supportive even when you can't understand.
Sacrificing your needs for those of someone else
Love is not to be confused with LUST.
Love is being there for someone.
Love is honestly setting BOUNDARIES, not putting up WALLS.
Love is TENDER POSITIVE REGARD, not resentful obligation.
