i have learned that you are actually everything you need in life - you do not need no one else, but having other people in your life is a very great extra point.
I have also learned that certain things just do not work out, no matter how much you enjoy the other person s presence if both do not give 100%.
But most importantly i have learned so many different sides of myself because of my friends and learned to step outside of my comfort zone!

My friend taught me to believe in friendship when i had lost hope in friendships as i have faced my fair share of broken friendships in life.Am grateful to my friend, coz i learned from her, thats its fine to be alone or broken sometimes, but we must see the positive sides of us and never blame us for the consequences. There is always room to grow and achieve what we want in life. May be it will take time but we will achieve.And most important thing what i learnt is that, she is there to hear and help me no matter who else is there or not, and i can always feel free to talk with her.

I have learned from my soul sister here, from my deceased best friend Charmaine, and also from other friends to "always stay the same" and never change who I am. And ... that's what I plan to do, even if others who are or were friends of mine have changed, I'm gonna be who I am and not change because doing so would only bring unneccesary drama and stress into my life as well as alienate the friends that I do have.
I want my friends to love me for who I am, therefore there should be no need for me to be anyone other than who I am.

My best friend taught me that the real friends will stick with you through anything. They will see the happy, the sad, the good, the bad and the ugly, but still love you the same. He also taught me that real friends won't be nice to you only when you're around, they will stand up for you and have your back even if you're not in the room.
My team that I played with for 3 years, became like a family to me. From freshman year when we were all on junior varsity (JV), we were like brothers, we had each other's backs, we were together through the good and the bad. We all screwed up at practice, got yelled at, got knocked down, and helped each other up. This year was the hardest one yet for me, with some personal stuff going on, struggling in school, and on top of that I was the team captain. I'll be 100% honest, I wasn't always the best at it. There had been times when I put way too much pressure on myself, failed to live up to my own standards, and under-performed. I thought I was alone, but I wasn't, not by a long shot. The entire team stood with me and they were there for me when I needed them most. They were the one that taught me what teamwork and brotherhood really means.
That they are successful and you are broke!!!

I can understand that, it is the same situation that I am in.
I learned many things from friends. Practical and theoretical things. It depends on the domains we worked on, debated discussions and / or activities. I think in life we all learn from each other. We learn both: consciously and unconsciously from one another.

wat i'v learnt from my friends are:
1 life is fickle indeed, friends come and go. yet, the greatest ones will always remain with us, or in our hearts
2 all friends around us are actually vital to help us growing, and to shape us up for betterment, providing if we're willing to learn from them
3 making friends are not easy, but it's always worth it to pursue a/some new friendship(s) in all stages of life, cos that's one of many options, on how we enjoy life in a merrier way

I learned the importance of putting myself in another person's shoes
Friendships in the past, I learned that I should not share with them about my depression (they all ended up abandoning our friendship).
Friends in the present, I'll need a friend first to answer your post~
I've learned that it's polite to ask your bestie if it's cool to dump some emotional baggage before you start doing so. Sometimes our friends and family are too deep in their emotional rollercoasters to be able to care for yours. Next time your having a really rough time and wanna talk to your closest friend, ask them if they're available to take the heavy stuff. Emotional respect goes such a long way in relationships - friends, family, and romantic.
