Hi everyone! I hope you are well. As we grow and evolve as people, we change our opinions about things.

What is one thing you used to believe/accept/like in relationships that you no longer do

@Hope the whole idea of if you do all the right things you can make a relationship work again. I feel like it's only a waist of energy

Military men 🤣

Its nothing against the military but it’s just not something I’ll ever be interested in again. Besides, I’m married now to someone who isn’t in the military 🤣

@Hope

I no longer believe there is a  "one " ... and

if you are miserable there is no reason to stay that way for sake of saying  "we have been together for x amount of time  "

love is a verb and if not working on it it withers and dies. and ONE person cannot carry the whole load leaving may be the kindest act.

@Hope,

that, how genuine and unconditional love might be, traumas and situations that a person went through can be so deeply rooted that sooner later that come out and win.

In other words, love only wins when you accepted your past and won't let the past stand in the way.

As they say, love is a verb and you need to truly love yourself first. You have to deal with your own deamons first.

I used to start relationships even when I didn't like the person so much and I just wanted to fill my void of loneliness. Naturally things didn't work out because the foundation was wrong. Now I don't do that. I'm not going to begin a relationship until I see a spark.
