What's one thing that you regretted to have said, later on?
Hello !
Sometimes it happens to say things that we regret to have pronounced a while later..did it ever happen to you?
* What's one thing that you regretted to have said later on?
* Do you think that things would have been different if you'd refrained to say it?
Here we can share about it!
Regret this so much. Calling my wife a baby-killer during an argument. This was 2 years after she had had an abortion (we werent yet married at the time). Still cant forgive myself for that one.
@BeyondTheInvisible
It's not something I said, it's how I reacted to what someone else said. I'm a teenage girl, and I had a crush on this guy, we were becoming friends. He'd often ask me random things like "(my name)'s my new best friend! Isn't that right, (my name)?" I'd just agree. Then, later he said "She loves me, right (my name)?" I wasn't expecting this, and laughed. I'd really liked him, but wasn't going to announce that to everyone. I laugh a lot when I'm nervous.
Unfortunately, the girl next to me translated. "She thinks you're weird."
He is kind of weird, but that's one of the things I like about him. I liked that he was brave enough to be different. I, however, was not.
I'm sure quite a few people can relate to this one.
Nothing.
A person who I respected and loved was calling me out on all the unhealthy and hurtful things I had been doing over the previous few months. And I locked up. I heard all their words, but couldn't digest them, couldn't respond and couldn't do any except apologize repeatedly.
They've left my life understandably. I just always wish I had said something, or anything really.
My girlfriend and I went grocery shopping and bought one of those huge bags of coco krispies. Back at home, I was pouring them into a Tupperware container when she reached across me for a glass in the cupboard; I spilled a bunch on the counter and grumped. I said something like "would you watch what you're doing??" my tone upset her and she went straight to bed. I tried to make amends by bringing her a cup of cereal. She took a bite and said she was okay, just tired. I kept feeling badly about the whole exchange and wished I could undo, but you can't really do that. It's these cumulative small things that hurt me the most.
All of my reaction on bullshit my bf just messaged to me. I should have just banned him to the hell.
@PennyUA well, I deleted it from the chat having even unread. I regretted that I was too polite and nice expressing my feelings, actually. I should have said 'f*** you bastard'
I regret telling my mum about how worthless I feel when my depression gets the better of me. I feel like I put all this upset and pressure on her now and I dont want my misery to make her sad too.
I wish I was stronger to keep these things to myself to save her the pain
I love you
Telling people I wanted to die, they blamed themselves and treated me like a fragil object, even now, and I don
Constantly saying I
@determinedstar91 me too
@determinedstar91
same unfortunately
How worthless and awful human being my sister is every time we're having a feud when all my life she's the only who tries to understand me when everyone is already giving up on me.
