Yup! We are trialing a SC based welcome team in this Subcommunity!
You can read more about this program here.
The process for participation is simple and anyone can join in!! If you want to help, just go for it!!
1) Welcome team members in each SC will send out a welcome message to new members. The welcome message will be tailored to the specific SC and personalized.
You can see all the new members who join a SC in the bottom right box of each SC page! It looks like this:

2) Once the welcome message is sent out, the welcome team member will post in this thread, tagging the newbies welcomed and sharing what they have accomplished. Post here!
