I have one and he's amazing!
we help eachother out with a load of things like he needs advice on what girls like I can give it to him and vice versa.
In my opinion if you don't have a best friend of the opposite sex go and get one! They are such a blessing and will give you can insight into the other sex's mindset which is very valuable. 🙂

I used to have a best friend like that but then we grew apart over time. We're still friends, just not as close as before but he was an amazing friend.

I've always had best friends of the opposite sex in my life, I think that is normal and normal to have friends...I had girls in my soccer teams as a child 😉😊 and also one of my best friends of the opposite sex was my grandmother...
My best friend is of the opposite sex,we have a good relationship...we can comfortably talk about absolutely anything.
I love my male friends! I don't connect well with other females and I need my male friends. Unfortunately, they tend to grow distant and/or cut me out once they date girls who get jealous of their friendships with me. It's actually extremely hurtful.

I think it actually doesn't matter what sex your bestfriend is. Beacuse bestfriends become bestfriends because of the connection or bond or the kind of understanding they have between each other regardless of their sex. Though yes, by having a bestfriend of your opposite sex can give you clarity of how or what they think about everything. And can share and clear things out more openly... So cheers to that!
I think it's really fun to have friends of the opposite sex! I have a few and honestly they're all great. I think friends of the opposite sex are just as important and valuable as friends of the same sex.
I am a woman and I have always gotten along better with friends of the opposite sex than of ones of the same sex which is always on a platonic level
Having an opposite gender best friend is really good. You can talk about anything to them and they will care for your emotions too.
