I need advice please
I am in a newer, very loving relationship. I love my partner and I know he loves me too, but he has a friend that’s a girl that he is pretty close with. They don’t hang out a lot but they message pretty frequently. I don’t know why but I work myself up so much that he might actually have feelings for her or her for him and I make myself overthink it so hard. I get quiet when he talks about her and I can’t seem to control my jealous feelings. I know it is wrong and I am trying to not feel this way but I can’t seem to help it. They have known each other for a while and I am meeting her for the first time in a couple days, I am nervous. I truly do trust him but I don’t know why when it comes to her I have a sour taste in my mouth. What should I do?

so you have not met her yet........... know they have been friends for a long time ...... but you are jealous and overthink all about the situation......
Now imagine if the situation was reversed and you had a long term guy friend ?
do you think men and women cannot just be friends ? do you have any trust in him?
relax until there is a reason to worry
It's definitely important to look deep down and figure out why you feel this way about the two. From what I'm gathering you don't have any direct reasoning brought up from either of their actions that lead you to thinking this way, so chances are you're making yourself stress here. It could be a number of reasons from your personal insecurities, to maybe you've had a bad experience in the past or you've seen someone have a bad experience. Regardless, I'd give CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) a shot since it really helps in rewiring those nonsensical negative thoughts.
Eat something sweet before you meet her.
You can't judge a person rightly if you have prejudice.
Your judgement will be seen by your partner, n you might lose credibility as a person who can judge others.
