i don't really know how this works since i'm a minor and idk if someone will read this but i just want to vent my feelings. so i have this friend from hong kong. she was really nice to me and she cares about me a lot. but after 1 month and ⅛, i created a conflict on our friendship. i had this issue which kinda relates to her interest and i think it might have affected her and she unfriended me and i took that as a sign that she doesn't want to be friends with me anymore. she blocked me in all social media platforms she even put me on her dni (do not interact) on her carrd with the warning "do not interact if you are (my name). you know who you are and i srsly don't want anything to do with you." and that just made me cry my eyes out. i didn't think she'll hate me that much and to even put that on her carrd. it hurts. i hate myself for ruining the friendship i started... i don't think i deserve to feel depressed about this since i'm the one who started it and ended it as well... i just don't know what to do. i want her back as my friend because i care about her a lot and she's the first person who was that nice to me...

Hey.. Lemme start with the fact that I'm not a professional at all. But from what I've read she's made it pretty clear she wants her space. I know it hurts but you should let it go. I've had a similar experience too. And ik how it feels to le tho of someone who has been nice to you in a long time. But everything's not in ur control. If you like her giving her the space she wants would be a better idea. It's gonna be hard but it'll be fine. I'm a person who believes that everything happens for a reason. And you've just started your life you'll definitely get better friends with time. In my opinion you should respect her decision. And hey you deserve to be treated better! We all make mistakes, have dark sides and have our own opinions. You'd get someone who loves a nd accepts you the way you are. So try to move on. There are a lot of things you could try to take ur mind of these things. And from my personal experience, letting him go was the best thing I could do for both of us. Sometimes you might feel like u really miss them and that's okay. You're a person who deserves to be respected and so is she. So try to move on.. You have better things coming ahead in life. Try focusing on ur studies. And no matter what at the end of the day you should be there for yourself! This is my personal opinion from my experience. And I hope n pray that you'll be able to move on. Also.. If you have made a mistake, apologize and then let her go.. If it's just that your interest is different from hers or you just expressed your opinion you don't need to apologize..

You will definitely be okay. 😊

Hi--welcome to 7 Cups. If you haven't found it already, HERE is a welcome pack for new members that describes everything that the site has to offer. You can also check out the Newbie Hub forum if you feel like it.

I'm really sorry to hear about what happened. 💜 You had a friend who was very nice to you, in a way that nobody else has been, and who you care about a lot. You did or said something that created some conflict with her. As a result of that, she got upset enough that she unfriended you, blocked you, and added a note saying that she did not want you (specifically) to contact her. And it was really upsetting to have all of this happen and feel like this friend you like so much dislikes you.

If she is that insistent on wanting to maintain distance from you and not interact, then it sounds like there might not be any way to re-establish the friendship. I imagine that any attempt to reach out to her would be interpreted by her as you disrespecting her boundaries and might just upset her even more.

Here is a resource I was able to find that has some tips for dealing with losing a close friend.
