If your partner asked for the access to your social media (***, ***, *** etc) would you give it to them and why?

@zayina no, why would I? There is no reason why they would need it. When a partner asks for it, it's usually because they don't trust you and they want to control your chats. There can't be a healthy relationship without trust. If you think your partner likely to betray you, then you shouldn't be together at all

I'm quite private and find it hard to trust others but if assuming it was an established relationship, Yes I would share them if requested. I would ask Why he wanted to see it though?

I just use one form of social media and no messengers, so pretty transparent with nothing to hide.

This is an age where cheating is easy and barely anyone gives reassurance that they are trustworthy.

Maybe it's a test to see my reaction, who knows? It's not a big deal to me, I would just request the same of him, fair is fair.

Its not about right or wrong. Varies from person to person.

For me, its kind of uncool, lacking class.... I wouldn't like a partner like that nor would I want to be such a partner to anyone.

I would, I have nothing to hide. My husband wont share his password for his phone. Said if I have questions, just ask. 🙄

I would offer to look through it together but not give them my password. If they don't trust me I can't trust them.

I think I would, if I’m with it’s because I love and trust and wouldn’t have anything to hide but I would also expect that access to their social media as well since I would also hope they have that same trust I have in them

No, I wouldn’t and I wouldn’t ask the same. I have never done this. It’s like phones as well, I consider it theirs. I respect their privacy, but they have to respect mine as well. Goes both ways.

My husband suddenly put password on his celphone, he is not like that before. But still, even if I really wanted to check I just let him be..though..whenever i see him texting..it makes me overthink
