Ex recently broke up with me after a 10 year relationship, I feel empty and she seems so happy. (RANT sort of)
We still live together and share the same bed. I currently can't afford to move out and there is no where else to sleep in this situation.
Im getting so jealous every time she goes out, she will get all dressed up and style her hair (She always used to be so casual) then she goes out for hours at a time on days and I'll just be sat at home wallowing in the thought of who she's meeting what she's doing e.c.t. I don't even recognise her anymore. She started working out before the break up and her attitude started changing. After telling me she can't do this anymore and wants to end it she said she felt a massive relief off her chest. She seems much happier now. My mind is like a whirlwind, 1 minute I'm accepting of the fact and the next I feel like my world is collapsing around me.
I've lost the best thing that happened to me, my rock, my safe place and my best friend.
And she seems happier for it.

Where was the relationship going before?
Did she ever tell you she wanted more? she was unhappy?
I am sorry you feel crushed and broken but I am sure you always wanted your partner to be happy. I am living the other side. we still live together but feel like roommates only.
Partner knows i was unhappy, he knows he did nothing to change.... just expected me to accept our small world. maybe he was depressed or likes to have no social life etc........He Talked a big game of doing things it was always "someday" ......Well i got tired of waiting to get dressed up and go out and have fun.... meet new people..... be happy in myself...
Now he is confused / empty trying anything to win me back ... but at this point ...... i feel too little too late.
Maybe this is not your situation... maybe she never spoke up..... but i think there was a disconnect long before you actually broke up.
This is exactly my situation, I got too comfortable and lazy. I took everything for granted. I never planned weekends away or bought her flowers/gifts. And when I think about it I truly hate myself more than everything for messing up something that was so perfect in the beginning. She never truly hurt me during the relationship, only after ending it and finding out she's speaking to someone else have I been hurt and by that point I don't deserve to feel hurt.
Honestly, I get how much it hurts but going back to her won’t fix anything especially if she’s already moved on. You’ve still got so much ahead of you and you can build a new kind of happiness just for yourself, just like she did I know it’s tough but you’re stronger than you think
But what if the only happiness I wants with her. I moved across the country to be with her and never made friends up here. Now if I let her go, I'll truly be alone.

Your situation is very similar to mine except it was 5 years. Moved across the country for her twice, Moved into 3 different apartments/houses and our third house I helped make renovations and repairs to. Lost her, their family that I was connected to, and what felt like my happiness and home.
It sucks and I don't know what to tell you but just take care of yourself, that's all I've been trying to do. Hope things get better.
Thank you, have things got any easier for you?

In some ways yes, but only because I have been eating healthy and trying to exercise. Still can't fully keep my mind off our relationship ending, it always comes back to my mind at some point. Going to try to get therapy soon because it feels like this won't get resolved until I can talk about it to a professional.
