I hate my family
I kind of mad that my family isn't been helpful in getting me my EA App cards (Gift cards to buy stuff like Sims 4 packs) that I got for Christmas with that are trapped in the living room due to the living room looking like the fictional backroom of a store due to the all the stuff that Dad and Luna brought home from Dad's late friend's place.
Background:
Six Fridays ago my Dad's friend "Mr.R" I will call him died and we found out late Friday afternoon since Dad wasn't home when the OG call came in from R's cousin. I only meet this R person a couple of times mostly at Mom's one-woman plays before he became to sick to come to them. Well Dad's the legal person after someone has died, so it means Dad has to go into Toto almost every day to deal with legal business like cleaning up the house.
Story:
So because Luna and Dad have cleaning up the house, it means that a bunch of rooms (living room-where the EA app cards are trapped in, the kitchen, and the family room) looks like the famous fictional backrooms of stores if you know, you know. So it means I have no easy access to find the EA Cards because they're trapped behind a ton of other items. And instead of my family being helpful at all they either tell me to wait (Luna) or Mom's is like "Do you need them today?" Well no I don't, but I rather they be somewhere I can access them, and not be stuck in the living room where I can't access them. And knowing this family-it could be five months before I could "access them" again. But we also need the living room cleared by *this* Christmas Eve because we use the Living room for our presents and 2 open them.
Which means I have to see if I can buy more EA app gift cards at stores at either the Oliver Mall, the Pickwick Mall or in a game store in Toto even though that's a waste of my money or Mom's money when I already have the cards in the house. And even when I can go to those places, there's no guarantees that the stores will have EA app cards at all.
(And it also annoying that due to living room looking like the backroom of a store, Mom and I can't finish a puzzle that we have out on the coffee table because of the same thing blocking me from getting my EA cards, but also of all the stuff that's on the the coffee table as well).
I mean there's storage units like the storage unit where someone found the original model of the U.S.S Enterprise which got lost in the late 70s- why not just buy a couple and put the crap in there if its small enough? Heck they can borrow my money if they need too-Dad's always complain I have too much of it but also don't like me spending money at the same time. So make up your mind Dad!
@Disneywoman Thank you for opening up and sharing your experiences with us, Disney. That sounds frustrating that you are unable to access your EA app cards right now due to the cluttered state of the living room. It feels difficult when everyone else seems unhelpful. Have you considered talking to your family about how their lack of help is affecting you?
@ASilentObserver
acutally there's an update the week after this post i was able to find the EA app cards myself and brought them up here to my computer area.
@Disneywoman Thank you for opening up about your family life. Families are sometimes hard to figure out. I wish your family could be more supportive of you. Thanks for sharing this with us. I hope things get better for you.
@Disneywoman Hey there. I'm sorry you're doing with that. I have issues with my family too, so I can understand how stressful that is. I know it's really hard, but remind yourself it's not your fault. It's ok to want your family to treat you better.
@WellsFiction this isn't the worst of it. I have a thread somewhere on this side of the forum (got moved from anxiety area) about the B.S. Dad and Luna put me through since 2001. And I have another thread somewhere on here about some of the B.S. Mom has given me along with Dad.
