Hi Everyone,

I hate when my husband gets angry without telling me a direct reason why and makes a scene. I’m really upset. Then he says I broke his day and I’m The moody one, the nagger, the problem maker. I’m so hurt and I hate whenever I’m called names. How do I make it stop and how do I learn confidence and the feeling of actual love for myself???

@Diamondstress I think you hit on something very important, self love or as others say self compassion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpVsedh2LNs

It is difficult in a tocix environement where someone belittles you and blames you for everything. That is not something that is easy to turn around on the outside. But on the inside you can help yourself cope with what might be considered by some to be gaslighting and narcissistic behavior. Coping with that, if that is what you feel it is like, might be difficult but possible. This may be of interest. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/fulfillment-any-age/201408/8-ways-handle-narcissist

If you feel this is too difficult to do alone you may want to consider getting a therapist at 7cups (online text based) or in your own locale.

Another important point is to avoid being isolated. If in real life or here at 7cups, develop places that you feel safe where you can go to rebuild and repair damage done in a toxic relationship. A listener and Group Support Chat especially moderated discussions can be a good starting place.
