Argument Over Wearing Too Much Makeup
I got home from work excited to tell my mom about my day and when I first see her she looks at me and yells “ oh my god you have too much makeup! That is horrible for work! What is wrong with you!” I’ll be honest I can be a little heavy on the blush and I’m not the best with my eyebrows either. But there is no reason to shame someone over wearing too much makeup. Honestly it wasn’t a life or death situation. I work with kids too!They have no idea that I’m even wearing makeup 😂 Like dude we’re all human and it’s not the end of the world to have bad makeup but I just wanted to vent because it makes you realize where that narrative comes from when you have a parent that is critical. No wonder why I was so hard on myself as a kid.

i do not think peopel should comment on makeup like that .... there are constructive ways to offer tips on application or support with out over reacting .... throws off your day when you just wanted to share something and the whole thing was thrown off but her reaction to makeup when in reality is a fairly minor thing.
Sounds like a typical Mom overreaction thing.
