Feeling Alone and Unwanted

Lately, all I’ve been met with is loneliness and the feeling that I don’t have anyone to talk to around me. Currently I’m going through a breakup, as my long term boyfriend ended things with me out of nowhere. He was my best friend and at the end he was extremely insensitive and cruel to me, which I never saw coming. It’s been really hard without having him here because of how close we were and with how he ended things with me.

Then some other people close to me reached out and I was feeling better because I could vent and confide in them.

A short while later, I got into an argument with one of those people and they decided to throw everything I said and vented about back in my face and entirely invalidated how I was feeling about being broken up with, as well as making fun of my hurt and upset emotions. Not too soon after that another one of them told me I should move on and acted like I was being unreasonable for being devastated over this breakup.

I don’t have anyone else to confide in and I feel like no one wants me around. When I’m happy and in a good mood it’s fine but because I’ve been so sad, hurt, and heartbroken, those feelings are invalid and no one around me wants to deal with it (even though the breakup was very very recent).

I’m honestly just really sick of everyone making me feel crazy for having emotions about something so important to me. Anyone who’s ever gone through a serious breakup, on top of that a horribly ending one, would understand that it’s normal to not “be okay” right after and that it takes some time to feel better again. I don’t want to feel alone anymore about it and I feel like everyone who I thought would be there to lend some support or even an ear just to chat about it only cared about the drama and voicing their opinions about it, rather than just being there for me.

@KNZI Hey, I just want to lend my support. I am going through a very weird situation where I felt tricked into a relationship I didn't want to so I wouldn't call it a break up, but I have been through a break up before from a long relationship, and I know how confusing and devastating it can be. I too remember trying to confide in one friend or a few friends and after a while they got tired or didn't want to hear about it. I am really sorry you are not getting the support you need, but you are taking action and I believe this forum will help. Usually people respond on here, and sure you will receive some other helpful tips or answers

@KNZI

it is hard anymore with people i think why some look for vent space and support on sites like this..... sad really as those close to you and have previous knowledge can give you better insight.

After having friends turn or worse yet embellish items for repeating i no longer confide in real "friends" .......

breakups are upsetting and especially if abrupt ........ makes it hard when your bf is your best friend it is like losing 2 pieces....

@KNZI Im so sorry for the way you feel right now. All your reasons seem a lot valid to me. I have been in a not so good ending relationship so i can understand what you must be going through. It is okay to feel that way. It is okay to take time to heal. It is okay to feel bad. It is okay to cry. Everything is okay and valid as long as it is valid for you. You dont have to feel alone anymore. Here at cups you have so many people who would understand you and would want to be there for you including me. You have me. You dont have to be alone in this challenging situation of yours. You are a strong person to deal with it. This is only going to make you stronger for the future.
