What is going on?

There is a guy in my work place that totally ignores me. I am new at this place and everyone are so nice and welcoming, they come over to say hi every morning. The first time we met he was nice but after that he comes to our office and talk to my other Colleague without even turning his head and say hi to me. I am just wondering what is wrong with him? 😄

@Rianakh95. Definitely sounds like an uncomfortable interaction. Have you tried starting up your own conversations with him when he comes into your space? It could be a good way to break the ice and let him know that is your space as well in the nicest way

Could be a huge number of reasons why he could be behaving like you said.

If he seems nice to other people then that narrows it down possibly. If hes not outright nasty to you I'd ask him.

@Rianakh95

It sounds really uncomfortable to feel singled out like that, especially when you’re new and everyone else has been so welcoming. It makes sense that his behavior would leave you confused or even a bit hurt. Not being acknowledged can feel personal, even when we don’t know what’s going on for the other person. You’re not wrong for wondering about it — anyone in your position would probably feel the same way.

@Rianakh95 It makes sense that his behavior would stand out, especially when everyone else has been warm and welcoming. It must feel a little confusing to have someone be nice at first and then suddenly seem distant. How has it felt for you when he walks in and talks to everyone else but not you?

@Rianakh95

It sounds like a strange situation to be in! Especially since everyone else is lovely and he was also nice at the start. I can imagine that can feel quite confusing and maybe demoralising when working. Do your best to not take it personally as who knows what is going on with him!

How have you felt when he behaves like this with yourself?
