Easter Traditions
Easter is arriving in a month. It always represented a return to spring and we would often have a special dinner to celebrate Easter with family favorites like Fried Dough and Butterscotch Chocolate Chip bars.

The tradition in my family is pretty fun! 🥰 My boyfriend dresses up as the Easter Bunny and the kids are woken up. He then hands them their baskets.
After that, we all eat breakfast lasagna. Then we read the Easter story from the Bible, pray, and then we hang out for a bit. Around 2pm all our family shows up and we just party! 🥰💕 We have Easter Egg hunts along our property which is pretty big. Then we have a huge Nerf Gun war, and then we all just pretty much eat, laugh, and have fun 💕🥰

What Easter traditions do you have in your family?
As a child the whole familiy had a big breakfast together with special Easter bread and of course coloured Easter eggs to eat. My grandma always put out a bouquet with beautiful tree branches on which she hang her self-made decorative Easter eggs, they were very beautiful. After breakfast my sister and me would go on a Easter egg hunt outside in our garden.

This Easter looks pretty different for me but in the past my family has gone to either a event thing or multiple and just had some time together. I have sang on Easter for the last three years in the kid services and I love getting to see everyone then. Other than that, we don’t really do anything specific.

Our family wakes up early to go to Easter Mass and then we have a nice Easter meal and a cute bunny- shaped cake.
