Coping With Loss
I have had to say the final good bye to both my parents. It is another world without them but I am coping.

From an eternal perspective, my faith believes in life after death and that families can be together forever through eternal bonds. This belief provides comfort to us who have lost loved ones, as we believe we will be reunited with them in the afterlife. This gives me comfort in knowing that while it hurts they're not here in flesh and blood, they are doing well in the afterlife and are awaiting my own return. It really helps my healing process be easier than before when I wasn't part of a faith.
@Jenna Thank you for responding. I hear you. It is comforting to think that those that are departed are not suffering and we will encounter them again.
I am not sure what the afterlife is like but I feel strongly that there is a continuation. It is not just one random life and nothing. I guess we will not know for certain until we get there.
I also feel that the good we do in this life goes with us so that is comforting to recall all the good my departed loved ones did and rejoice that those virtuous acts continue on to heal them and strengthen them in ways I find challenging to comprehend.

For me what I believe in is Heaven and we will be with our loved ones once again when it is our time.I know not everyone believes in this way and that is okay . I am only sharing my beliefs .
I lost my Dad and Mom , My Older Brother and my Younger Brother . It is hard it sure is but I know that they are better off out of the physical pain and the mental pain they all dealt with. I will say not one day goes by that I do not think about them and miss them.
I have to live on for me and take care of myself for my son and grandson and those that are still here. I suffered for so many years with agoraphobia and missed out on so much in life and yes time with family. I can not get time back but I can live every day to the fullest and Pray I am reunited with my family once again.

Tye I really appreciate your heartfelt words of condolence. I am sorry for your losses but you have chosen to make life the best you can.
I actually am doing okay. I am starting to let go. One day at a time.
I miss seeing you in discsussions but am so glad to see your posts in the forums. Hope to see you agian soon.
