Daily Prayers, Intentions, & Beams!
I often reflect on what makes our community so extraordinary. It’s the way we listen, the way we relate, the way we care for one another, and accept one another where we’re at, struggles and all.
We are connected because we share the human experience. We find collective strength in one another and draw on that to not just survive, but thrive. Together, we're building a community where healing is possible, growth is inevitable, and hope is attainable.
This interconnectedness is how we combat loneliness and create ripples of positive change, one connection, one conversation, one act of kindness at a time.
Inspired by this shared connection and the incredible strength we find in one another, I have created this space for us to offer and receive support, pray for one anothers, set intentions for our community, and send positive energy to those in need. Think of this as our daily practice of collective care.
Whether you have a specific prayer request for support or want to share a positive affirmation, this is the place to do it.
Whether you're going through a personal crisis, facing health concerns, or other difficulties, you can ask for an empathetic ear, offer prayers, or just comforting words. If you'd like a specific kind of support, please do mention it with your share. You can say as much or as little as you like about your situation. (It can be as simple as "please pray for x", "please send me strength/blessings/vibes", "please keep me in your thoughts", "send beams" etc!)
Or you can set intentions for your day. (ex. I intend to be more mindful of my own emotional needs and practice self-care.)
If you have things that you want us to pray for and think about and send positive energy your way, let us know. (The community team is going to be engaged and following this closely in a more direct way, too. Many of you, like Glen, pray for our community daily or keep us in your thoughts!)
This is an invitation for us to surface and build on these activities to strengthen our shining city and further lift one another up.

This week I start my job searching. I worked on my resume some, and did some digital organizing today.
@tryingtosurvive2024 I need prayer for this because finding a job for myself is going to be tough. I have ADHD, and not many abilities.

@Tinywhisper11 It's more complicated than you might realize. You got to make a resume and tailor it to the job you want. If you don't they will tell you that you are over qualified. Also you got to write a letter about yourself. It needs to sell you but not be over the top. Fill out an application, and then you got to present yourself just right in an interview.

@Tinywhisper11 One step at a time. When I interviewed to be come a custodian for the school. Believe it or not, they actually made me interview 4 times, and all I do is clean a building toilets etc.. It is a lot of work, but it isn't rocket science. It has nothing to do with education. You don't need a college degree for it. It isn't a high paying job. Now they make it even harder to get in.

Dear Heavenly Father you say in your word that if we ask for wisdom you will grant it. I need it. I also need protection. I got either 2 or 4 days left at my old job. I'm scared of that boss! I don't want to get into anymore trouble, there. Please help me to remember anything that I might still need to bring home. Please guide me to a job that I can do. A place that I can fit into. Please help it to be something that doesn't stress me out so much. Lord if I need some therapy, then please help my parents to realize it so that I do it easily. In Jesus Name. Amen.

I pray for all the families and friends that will attend my sister's homegoing services. I ask for strength to her children and husband. Forgive me if I don't attend; I just need time to for myself and the strength to do the things I need to do to stay healthy. I hope no one has hard feelings because I am not there.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful for truth. But I wish truth didn't hurt. Recently I realized a former friend of mine is a danger to me. They started the friendship, and was even a bit flirty. But now that they have started a new life, they came back and caused me to get into some trouble. And then they took off again. Thankfully Lord, I have resigned from that place. Lord, please protect me and my heart from people who do this sort of thing. Because I try to do the best I can to be a good person, and to talk about good things. Yet I have had a lot of trouble with people who are flaky. I'm not saying that I don't love them, cause you love them too. And I'm not saying that I'm perfect, and I always say the right stuff, and behave in the right way. But I do try to be right. I try to be kind, and caring. Lord it hurts when you try to care and have it thrown into your face. I'm sure you understand this, cause we Christian's often take your grace for granted, I think. Lord please help me as I am on 7Cups to be a light to others. Please help me to be a light in whatever you want me to do. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Prayer Request
I mentioned that my brain is slow. It also doesn't bring up information like it should sometimes. This is one of those times! I should of added to this list. I'm suffering from extreme loneliness. I know that it is extreme cause it temps me to do things and look up things I know that I shouldn't. This loneliness causes me pain. To make things even worse, the people who are in my life (I live with my parents) and the people who were in my life don't care. Even when I talked openly about it, nobody cared enough to help me with this. I'm talking about people in real life. People on the internet have made suggestions, but they can't really help do anything about it.

Prayer today a prayer of thank you. We had bad ice storm was without power 6 days internet still out. But we thankful we made it through it all. Without end up in pych ward or hospital. Yes it was scary and cold with no heat.
But we very thankful that we was carried though it all. Safe and ok yes still freaked out some but that due to wind and fear right now too.
So many of us take for grant things like hot food heat lights and roof over our head even running water think this was reminder could lose all that fast. Due to weather or other reasons.
So prayer of thanks for all the blessings we have and others have too

tank you we have internet back but school still not reopened so our home aid not been able to come much. right now kids have had 2 and 1/2 weeks of school off as they was on spring break then the storm hit and no power. poor home aid stuck home mostly with 5 kids. 3 of them are teens lol. not sound fun at all to us.
so hoping kids can go back to school Thursday as know both kids and parents must be going crazy.
we just thankful that no one got hurt in the storm as far as we know and most have power and internet back as got cold again having more snow too.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask that you help me forgive those that hurt me. I need to get that junk out of my heart. I know that I did the best I could for those people, and they turned out to be jerks too me. I know I'm not perfect and I know that I have hurt others. But Lord I don't think I've hurt anyone on purpose. I hate hurting others. Lord for those that I can't reach out too. Please help them to forgive me for any hurt that I might have caused them. Lord help them to come to an understanding of why I messed up.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I am thinking about the hypocrisy in the Church. I'm a sinner too. I carry unsatisfied longings for a woman in my life, and I feel that it has made me a hypocrite too. Lord probably isn't right for me to judge others. I just wish people in the Church treated each other the way you want us to treat each other. We talk of forgiveness, grace, mercy, truth. Yet I haven't experienced much of any of it. There is also a lot of Biblical misunderstandings. Lord I'm willing to get help for my sins, but the kind of Churches that I've been too are not places that are helpful. Jesus I ask that something will improve where I live.
