How do you know if god is activity answering your prayer? I know I’m not alone in feeling this way.

I feel things are getting worse instead of better. In reality nothing is happening. It’s dead quiet on my end.

It’s not gonna be like that forever. I know this but right now this is hurting me.

So do you pray for something else? Pray for more patience? It feels like enteral panic attack to me everyday. I can’t express it I’ll look crazy.

@Muse4apoem

Have you considered the answer may be there but not what you want to hear.

... example i was in a very toxic work situation i was only  half motivated to get out..... I  kept thinking if this or that happened it would be better ....  yet nothing seemed to come. i was asking to fix a situation it was time for me to leave behind me.....

I actually said out loud "this situation is not working and whatever life lesson i need please place me in a different situation to learn it "....... in 2 days i had a new job  surrounded by new people whom had a different perspective ..........that job  i sent a application in haste not even reading full job description ...... i learned a lot from that job and found strengths in myself i would not have had ..... and looking back..... i knew my prayer was answered .....

WE do not see our answer sometimes .... we may not even recognize it until later ...... we get impatient thinking prayers are instant instead IMO it is just a new view or a detour from our issues.

@Muse4apoem that is a good question. No matter what religion we have we pray. My prayers to change the world are largely unanswered. But my prayers to transform my ways of thinking give me subtle clues.

Sometimes I hear them and do not accept them, sometimes my mind is too busy to notice. Sometimes I actually follow the subtle clues and discover the problems are ones I have created with my beliefs and actions.

Sometimes things seem to be getting worse because I am more aware of what is happening. That can be a step in the right direction.
