If he is, then He sure isn't in a hurry to provide unambiguous evidence... Everything that was given as evidence of God in the past has been explained (or debunked) by modern scientific discoveries, especially in the last 150 years or so.

@slowdecline48 This actually isn't true. There is a lot of evidence for God in the world, and evolution was recently debunked. He also calls us to have faith. He isn't going to prove everything so that its completely logical to believe.

Really....that's news to me. You would think the networks would've reported this by now. How did all living things come to be as they are today?...Who is the brilliant innovator who upended evolutionary theory after over a century-&-a-half??
(If your answer is Michael Behe, forget it. He attempted to prove "intelligent design" in a court case during the Bush II years--& failed. Completely)

If you are talking about the theory of Evolution vs Creationism as scientific fact, neither can be proven. Science is dependent on the "scientific method". We can not go back in time and observe "Origin".
Scientists have biases. Since the scientific method can not be used to determine if these biases are false, scientists will hang on to these biases. Thus, "models" are inherently prone to be false in the case of Evolution.

To expand on my "faith" as it is that it is the only evidence I have in my heart and mind.
I judge for myself through life experience and through what is referenced in the Bible to see for myself, if there is merit behind the stories and principles behind scripture. I believe it is as personal as it gets to obtain "wisdom" in this world and I believe that the very beginning of wisdom is belief in God.
The only evidence one can get is ones own faith in ones own life experience. If it includes a transformation of ones heart and mind? That is bonus.

In the Qur’anic understanding, God is the One who created everything and sustains the universe. He is eternal and everlasting, all-powerful, and completely independent of anything. Everything depends on Him, while He depends on nothing.
He is one and unique, with no partners or equals, and nothing in creation resembles Him in any way.
The question then becomes: when we observe the order, laws, and harmony of the universe, do they point to such a transcendent source?

Biblical Judaism (Hebrew Bible) and Biblical Christianity would agree with you. The one possible exception is your last sentence. We believe that people were made in "the image of God".
@Neal1, In the Qur’anic perspective, nothing in creation resembles God in His essence. Human beings are not “in the image of God,” but they may reflect certain divine attributes in a very limited way.
It is like a mirror reflecting the sun: the mirror contains light, but it is not the sun itself.
In the same way, qualities we see in human beings—such as knowledge, mercy, or will—are only faint reflections pointing to their infinite source. In other words, these qualities are not similarities in essence, but signs pointing to the One who possesses them absolutely and infinitely.
The reflection exists, but the source remains completely beyond comparison.
If the source is infinite while the reflection is limited, would it be accurate to say the reflection is the same as the source?

I would say that the answer is "no"
The infinite (God) has created people with the ability to have a personal relationship with God. However, Adam and Eve sinned which messed up their ability to have a deep personal relationship with Him. Since Adam and Eve represented humankind their sin nature is passed down to everyone who is born after them. Thus, everyone needs a perfect Savior to rescue them from their sins.
Jesus was the perfect Savior that all people need. On the cross all of our sins was imputed to Him. Jesus suffered on the cross the punishment that we all deserved. In addition, His perfect righteousness was imputed to us if we accept the gift that He has provided for us.
Whoever accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior is now considered perfectly righteous. The Holy Spirit now indwells this person. In the power of the Holy Spirit this person now can reflect some of God's attributes( such as God's love, peace, and joy).
So, yes, the born again Christian can reflect some of God's attributes similarly to how the moon reflects the sun's light.

We started by trying to clarify what we mean by God, and we agreed on a definition where God is eternal and everlasting, all-powerful, and completely independent of anything. Everything depends on Him, while He depends on nothing. He is one and unique, with no partners or equals, and nothing in creation resembles Him in any way.
From that perspective, the question becomes important:
if God is absolutely infinite and nothing resembles Him in essence, how can any human being — no matter how special — share that same nature?
My point was not about sin or salvation, but about the distinction between the Creator and the creation.
If that distinction is not clear, the concept of God itself becomes difficult to define consistently.
@Inpursuitoftruth73116 It is impossible for a human to define God by himself/herself. However, in the Hebrew Bible God has revealed many facts about Himself. Plus, the New Testament has revealed even more about God. In fact God came down to earth as the God/Man (Jesus). He revealed Himself to people to an even larger extent. Finally, the Holy Spirit indwells each and every born again Christian and teaches us more about God.

But I want to know, if youre willing to tell, what your background is. How can I help you to understand God and faith? @intelligentShade2693 my opinion is that the man in the sky we were lmtsught about is not real but God the energy that makes up everything is. I believe we are all God (The universe) experiencing itself
