Safety Terms, Explained!
SAFETY has become something of a blanket term for all things safety oriented on 7Cups. It's hard to distinguish one safety-related project from another, so what do all these things mean?? Let's clear it up!

Safety Coordinator
The entire community management/admin team can and do handle safety reports. Two of the CM staff are Safety Coordinators, myself and @Power. We are your first point of contact for any issues you might have regarding fellow users, privacy concerns, and other urgent matters, If we are not responsive/not online, and it's during ET daytime hours, feel free to reach out to @Laura @Kate or @Jill7Cups. If it is not urgent and/or CMs are unavailable, use the e-mail address you signed up with to e-mail community@7cups.com. NOTE: it may take a few days depending on the team's workload, but you will always receive a reply.

This is really great !! Thank you for the added structure!
@Heather225 Thanks for the post! I think people will find this really helpful!
@Heather225 great info. Glad to have this level of detail.
Just one point that may deserve emphasis. When reaching out to contact community@7cups.com that is an EMAIL only and does not work as a personal message (PM) - many times when I give the link people try to PM it.
@Heather225
Thanks Heather, its good to see such clarity. But I have a question that was asked of me at todays Safety Discussion, what should we do, who do we contact, when it is urgent and still night time or very early morning in the USA and before CM are about? A lot of our members are from India and the UK and so could you clarify what to do when the 'offices are closed' please? Thanks

@MistyMagic There is usually someone around. I am around in the night time and early morning hours of ET. Anyone needing assistance can contact me.
