Online - I don't show my photo, give out my address and only give out my email/mobile number if I've had plenty of contact with a person online first.
In the real world - I don't give out my phone number or address to anyone I don't know well (they can have my email as that's easy to block!), when I accept lifts from people I make sure I know them well but rarely get them to drop me at my front door but a bit further away so they don't know where I live.

Always plan how you will get home from somewhere new (whatever time of day).

★ What words do you associate with the term safety? Knowing what to do and where to go and knowing who I can call for help.

I have a box in my car I use and pull things out as needed. The most important thing in there lately is food and water. Helps when I need it for others around me also. I also have a list on my phone of contacts if needed since we had to call the tow truck to get help.

in my online safety toolbox I have ceop police parents friends my ability to secure my PI and to know when to shut it all off
in real life:
In real life my safety toolbox contains my ability to defend for myself (even though I wouldnt do that) speed dial for the police my church my mu (although I wouldnt go to her) the internet if Im in danger and have no where to go I can look for places online where I can take shelter

For online safety I've firwalls, a good antivrus and cyber knowledge to protect myself
For real world I've a good muscular body to protect myself ☺️, health insurance,life insurance, some friends whom i can count on.

Online: Keeping my passwords safe.
Real Life: a notebook, a pen, and my phone to contact someone if I feel unsafe.

The word Safety to me means Trust my gut and know my surroundings.
For online keep my personal information just that unless necessary to give it out and always check that when I am on a website that it is secure. If I am giving someone online my personal information, make sure I I trust them. Safety begins with me!
Offline, be aware of things and others around me, especially during the holidays. When shopping take notice of if anyone is watching you when you buy large items or if you dispose of big boxes. I know how to protect myself with training I have from being attacked. And I know who to call in emergency... I am my first defense for safety!!!

I try to stay with a group of friends at all times when going out if not I'll keep my guard up. It's also best if you could at least remember important emergency numbers or the directions to the nearest police station

Words I associate with safety are
awareness, unharmed, protected, unalarmed, out of harm's way, preventions, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), policies, procedures, laws, rules, surroundings, worry-free
Inside my safety toolbox I dependent on my awareness and common sense to keep me out of an unsafe situation. I am also spiritual so I also depend on my angels and god to keep me safe. Also pre-planning where ever i can. Red flags are also part of my safety measures.

Some words that I associate with safty are security, refuge, santuary, protection and assurance.

My Online Safty Tool Box - I don't tell people information online if I wouldn't say it to somebody I see randomly. If somebody keeps talking to me and it makes me uncomfortable I take action and respectfully end the conversation and report when necessary.
My Real World Safty Tool Box - Don't meet up with people you don't know, especially if they seem suspisious. If your safty feels violated tell a trusted adult. Also, if you wouldn't feel right letting your friend do something, it probably isn't a good idea for you to do it.
