Phishing Scam: PLEASE READ!
Hello Community,
In recent days, we've seen a phishing scam in our community. You do not have anything to be concerned about.
However, we ask that you take extra care in the following ways:
- do not click on strange links
- do not log in again when you are already logged in
- be sure to look in the address bar when on a new web page
Additionally, please note:
- 7 cups site is always at 7cups.com ,etc
- If you are concerned at all, please change your 7 Cups password
- If you have opted-in to the 7 Cups automatic welcome program, we are sending welcomes out! This is not part of the scam.
If you believe you may have been hacked:
1. use this form to let admin know about your situation.
2. change your password right away if you can.
3. we will reset it for you if you have been locked out.
What's going on???
@Ality - scammers put a google link in chat and ask listeners to click it to learn their whole story. the link goes to a site that looks like our login screen but is designed to capture your password.
@Laura
Thank you for this important post Laura. Even the most internet savvy people can get tricked.
This place is a target not only because of its size, its global access, but also the vulnerability levels of users on this site. It is very unfortunate where people get their highs from. It's awful.
TIP TIP TIP FOR PASSWORDS!
TIP- When you have finished entering in your password, type on the space bar once, and then backspace, then press enter- to prevent key logging
@CalmCoach
That won't work cause Keyloggers are designed to delete as you delete
@CalmCoach, thanks for that fantastic log in tip!
@Laura Thanks for telling us! These things are scary. Information is vital!

I'm glad you told us! I don't know why people can't just leave others be
@Laura thank you so much for telling us this
It happened to me. I changed I created a whole new account. scared me horribly.
What happened??
@shiningsxturn99 - see above for full details. the bottom line is don't click on blind links in chat, don't log in when you are already logged in, check the address bar when you are at an unexpected login screen, and change your password if you believe you may have been compromised.
