Self love Test question
We all have a tendency to compare our lives with others even if we know comparisons dont serve us.
So here's my fun question:
Let's say somehow (through some superpower let's say) you do get the choice of switching your life with another person's--- would you do it? Would you take theirs and give them urs?
My answer: No.
(My merits, my demons, my circumstances, my blessings, my sufferings-- i want to stick to the same life package. Not just because I'm unfamiliar with the depths of another life package, im possessive about my own - good or bad or something in between, its mine, I dont want to give away my project).
I want to hear your answer now.
@Creamyyy
A not so long time ago, I was talking to someone in a really bad place and they said this stuck with them and made them feel better.
We all experience things to a different degree. Your tolerance for stress could be higher or lower than someone else's. If someone else had your life, then they'd crumble under the weight because they couldn't survive the things you've gone through.
Everyone has baggage.
I wouldn't trade my life for any other because I know the true value of it... and someone else would squander the riches it comes with. I prosper in ways that money could never buy.
All I think of is the episode of Steven Universe when Blue Diamond is using her powers to make others feel her pain. Everyone crumbled to the ground in agony. But Lapis stood there and said "I've felt worse"
There's so much power in that.
Blue Diamond was so caught up inflicting her suffering upon others that she couldn't see they were suffering.

@GentleFish well said 💖
@Creamyyy for many years I would have said yes. But now nah I wouldn't wish that on anyone else😂 but seriously though all the struggles, life is good now I wouldn't want to be anywhere else 💖
Also comparison brings you no good, only jealousy and hatred. So self love is important 💖
@Creamyyy
My answer would be straight and definite "NO".
Even if my life was a great pain sometimes, why should I assume it was not the kind of pain I was designed to cope?
Some people are born with a permanent minor depression, some die young in accidents. Some are coping with a chronic paranasal sinuses inflammation and allergy, some with breathing or heart issues. I would strongly prefer keeping what is mine and not desiring someone else's.
Though, I must admit, I feel a bit irritated when people tell about their financial/material wellbeing. I still remember being a child whose mother had a choice between giving me 5$ for my favourite comic book about a helicopter pilot and keeping it as spare money for food.
Recently I've re-watched an old movie called "Tootsie" and I started to imagine how it could be to be a woman: wear stiletto heels and a fancy dress, catwalk, have some makeup and curly blonde hair, with all those high notes and smiles, and small but perfect gestures... But only for one day! 😆
@Creamyyy
My answer is also: No
but i have tough life but i will fight with it. No matter what's going on. I know its hard to see difficulties. but i can face it i can do it. i can make my life better than this one.🌷🙂
@Eman144 Rooting for you ð¥³
@Creamyyy
Thank you so much — that truly means a lot. Your support is felt and appreciated more than you know.
Rooting for you too, always! 🌱✨
@Creamyyy This is a really good question. I have often thought that I wish I was different. But when I actually look at others’ lives, even when I perceive that there’s something about their life I wish I had, in the end I let go of the idea.
@PiecesOfWhoeverIWas great analysis. One has to look deeper. I often look at some star couples who seem to have everything in their lives- money, success, looks, love, families and it just looks out of this world - but then i see them fighting drug and alcohol addiction and it makes me realise I just saw the rosier side of their lives.. there is darkness they're battling as well.
@Creamyyy Thank you!
