body image issues and self consciousness
this is a vent btw so read it or don't its fine..
so basically I'm 13 and I'm super self conscious and I have major body image issues. recently my depression has come back so I've gained weight and i feel ugly again. as much as I hate to say that about myself, it's how I feel.
I tried to look in the mirror today and find something about myself that I genuinely like and I came up with my eyelashes. then I realized that everyday besides today (I did them) they are wild and blonde. so now I have nothing.
I used to like my wrists because they felt the skinniest, but now their bigger. I don't like any part of my face or my hair. I don't like how broad my shoulders are. I don't like anything about me. and it's not just physical.. I hate my name and when and how I laugh and how I comfort others and how I go from silent to the loudest one.
I wish it would just stop but it doesnt. and I'm scared to try to lose weight even though it might make me feel better because I don't know how to do it healthily. I feel so stuck.
I feel like everything about me is wrong. and I feel like my body is just a vessel so I don't treat it likes it's real. idk if that makes any sense..
but if u read this does anybody have any support or anything? I'm not sure what I'm looking for.. thx tho

This is something many have gone thru. I did some self work on myself and although I hate looking at photos of myself, I still feel good ...
I am more then a pant size and we can have weight fluctuate through out life. we can not let ourselves get down on ourselves every time we aren't our preferred size.
Learn to love you for you ... we do not need outside validation but it is nice when it does happen. i know sounds easy but it takes time. Confidence in ourselves regardless of outside factors is a super power.
@lolorye89 I'm sorry you're feeling this way, I can relate a lot with you... In the things you've mentioned, you're not alone 🤍 I know how this feeling of being scared to lose weight might feel, I've always been overweight, and last year it was getting really bad so I started working out but was too hard on myself, and started losing weight quickly. and it had bad effects on my health...
So please, try not to be too hard on yourself ❤️ you're very young, and it's okay to feel insecure— it's something very common, don't let your looks define your worth 🤍 If you ever choose to do weight loss do it with proper plan and guidance.
There's nothing wrong with you, You're Awesome just the way you are ❤️ and you deserve to be treated with love and kindness 🤍 Sending you my best wishes 💕

thanks. last year I had the same thoughts but much worse, and I tried to lose weight and it was really unhealthy. I don't want that to happen this time, but I also want to feel comfortable in my body. thanks again
