7Cups Devs! White background increses carbon emission! YOU can make a change and help the environment!

7cups uses a white background and foreground with some blue on some parts, but using this much white hurts the environment! The more white a website has, the more energy the screens must use to access that website! So by using darker shades or simply a black background, you could save so much energy! Check these out:

It used to be less bright but it's been like this for a while. People have mentioned wanting different skins before but I guess it's not happening? Even though it seems to be fairly easy to develop.
@Phthalo I know nothing about how easy or hard it is, though I understand why people would want a change, it's not easy on the eyes. I hope now the developers will change something :)

I've been using a darker theme (custom made)for a little while now, only because it is much easier on the eyes! This is actually super interesting to read about
@Joe2017 I use a custom browser add-on for the same purpose. Feels so much better on the eyes!
