Chat 2.0 Version
7 Cups recently launched the Chat 2.0 version. I observed many members and listeners faced difficulty accessing chats in the older version due to the glitches. I thought I would share it here for the ease and convenience of everyone. All our fellow cupsers can switch to the new domain by using the following link.

Im not a fan of change xD specially something that feels rather fancy-ish than a necessity, so I'm not really a fan of the new version, but i hope to give it a fair chance also.
So far the overall look doesn't appeal too much, but maybe it's better in functionality, as you said it's easier to navigate?
Definitely something to take time in getting more accustomed to, wishing everyone luck with that. 😅

I can agree. We were habitual to using the old version and this sudden update may not be as per everyone's expectations. It will take time for us to get used to it and get out of the comfort that was routine to us.

It seems to have helped. Much relief here. The link that was sent made it work.
However, I have another question: I used to be able to copy-and-paste messages on the phone app and that feature has been gone for a while when it was so useful to send the same messages to different members, such as: "I am going to be online in 30 minutes, if you can make it" or "Just to tell you I cannot be online tomorrow" - that type of messages. I wonder if this feature will ever come back.

It works just fine for me since, I use the web version. However, I discovered you can't copy on the app unfortunately. But you can paste if you copy something from somewhere else.

Thank you for the follow-up. I have filled at least two questionnaires. Chatting has become so time-consuming with the new glitches added to the old ones
I really hope they implement the Dark Theme to the desktop browser version

Hi again.
I am sorry I spoke too soon about the changes, which feel more like a downgrade than an upgrade after tonight's experience.
I had a terrible time this evening with chats that were coming in. The column on the left of the screen does not show more than two members' last chats and the "Chat" bubble at the top of the screen is not telling you WHO has sent you a message as it used to before. Also, some of the synchronicity seems to be lost. I used to see the messages bubbles instantly and there is a lag now.
In the end, I got a 7cups "no reply" message tonight in my email about my response time, this after labouring 1 hour and 40 minutes through my chats and I was frustrated enough. People seem to know that I am online even if my signal is "offline" and they come in with new messages and I have to at least let them know that I am not ignoring them but I am already busy.
It feels as if you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I like the colours! It's uncomfortable to use on browser though. The tiny box where you type in is sometimes (mostly) placed so high i can only see 1-2 messages in the chat. I have to scroll to see everythings else. When i do scroll sometimes it goes down but when i scroll it the wrong way it goes back up. That's my main issue with it anyway. That box got chonkier too so it takes up so much space 😭 (This happens on full screen).

I like the color scheme as well. I usually avoid the full-screen mode due to this very reason. The scrolling up and down can be uncomfortable and lead to delayed responses. Have you considered leaving a feedback for the same ? Click here to fill the feedback form for Chat 2.0 Version.

This is happening to me in both chat versions, 1 and 2.
