Ramadan Mubarak
Hi everyone & As-salamu alaykum (Peace be upon you). A while ago @GlenM made a post acknowledging that we are a diverse community with a variety of celebrations/important days. @Tazzie has been doing a good of ensuring we celebrate/acknowledge the different celebrations through either forum events or posts. In an attempt to continue coming together and celebrating the important days/festivities, I wanted to take a few minutes to pin down a post to acknowledge and celebrate the start of the Muslim holy month, Ramadan. Tomorrow and in some days, the day after tomorrow the month will begin.
It is the month of fasting where Muslims fast for a month, focusing on their religion and their connection with God. We have a very diverse community and therefore we have Muslims among us! Many of whom will be fasting. You can read more here.
You can be supportive by doing the following:
✰ Be sparing in food/drinks talk in public rooms (recommended, not required)
✰ We use a lot of ice-breakers in our community (forums/rooms). You can choose to avoid food/drink-related activities/ice-breakers. (recommended, not required)
✰ Leaders, be mindful of the workload of your team members and offer support if they need a break
✰ Wishing Ramadan Mubarak
Wishing Ramadan Mubarak to all Muslims of our community! We hope that you find peace and joy in this blessed month.
Feel free to answer one or all of the following questions.
✰ Do you have any plans for the month?
✰ What does the month mean to you?

@Hope hey i am glad that you made this post. I am going to fast this whole month InshaAllah (God willing). I will try to improve myself and become a beter version of myself. I will try not to hurt people with my words or by other means and i will try to remain not only for ramadan but forever. So these are my plans. This month means a lot to me. It is my favorite month because the devil is kept in chains and God keeps the devil locked in the whole month and God opens the gates of heaven. Moreover, God gives us ×10 reward for each of our good deed.
Ramadan Kareem to all. Stay happy and blessed

thank you @Hope @GlenM @Tazzie for the acknowledgment 💜
✰ Do you have any plans for the month? 》 give hard, work hard, pray hard
✰ What does the month mean to you? 》detox, annual self-control training and time to pull out my long list of requests to God (it's free, it's expected and the chance that it will be granted is big, so why not? 😀)
For those who will do fasting, may we find values way more than thirst and hunger ♡

Hi everyone Ramadan Mubarak to all listeners and members may Allah shower his blessings on everyone. I hope that you all have a great time fasting and celebrating with your families. ☺️☺️☺️
Ramadan Kareem. May Allah (SWT) accept all our ibdah and duas and forgive our sins . May this month bring us closer to Allah. Remember Allah doesn't change a people unless they change their inner condition themselves." (13:11) If you're not seeking guidance and knowledge you'll be never guided. In other words, Allah guides everyone but those who insist to go astray and do sins will be eventually left over themselves and hence will be misled. This is nature of Dunya (world) as created by Allah, Allah doesn't force His authority here (لا اکراه فی الدین): وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَآمَنَ مَن فِي الْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا ... If it had been thy Lord's will, they would all have believed [but it had been not] ... [Yunus, 99] But at the Day He will and that's why He says: الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلَّـهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ ... On that Day of Dominion will be that of Allah: He will rull and judge between them ... [Al-Hajj, 56]. When God sees the sincere repentance from one of the believers – a person who truly turns God with both fear and hope – He not only forgives the sin, but He replaces the sins with rewardable good deeds. This is from God’s infinite mercy. “Except those who repent and believe and do righteous deeds; for those, God will change their sins into good deeds, and God is the Most-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” - from a fellow convert ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So happy to see such a beautiful message here, means a lot🥰
1. I plan to read the translation of the holy Qur'an.
2. This month is a self care break for me. I prioritise things and avoid engaging in unproductive stuffs, focus on essentials and try to devote myself which in turn soothens & empowers me😌
