Taking Care of Each Other - Preventing Burnout at 7 Cups
Hi everyone! This is a forum post linked to the path 'Preventing Burnout at 7 Cups'
What have you done today/recently to prevent burnout in a fellow community user?
This can look like:
• Encouraging self-care
• Reminding someone of the importance of boundaries
• Covering for someone so they can take a self-care break
@Hope
I intend to reach out to a fellow Listener who has reached out about a particular concern
@Hope
I relax today and I took a nap. I also cook a meal.
Remind others that there's nothing wrong with taking a break or saying no if that's what you feel is best for the situation.
@Hope
I really enjoyed today had a great day and accomplished things I wanted to be accoplished and to also relax on this day.
@Hope
I just didn't talk to a listener that I used to talk to a lot
@Hope
Talking about it to a friend
@Hope
today, in order to prevent burnout, i took intermittent breaks between tasks to play video games, which is my best coping skill for stress and symptoms of emotional setbacks...
@Hope
I always tell someone to take care of themself and to set boundaries, and the most important one is to relax and regroup.
@Hope
I am grateful for this path. I am learning so much. Today, I did some self-care activities. Thank you.
@Hope I haven't been involved in the community enough yet to encourage other listeners to take self care breaks, but I have suggested to my roommates to take breaks between studying sessions to prevent burnout and also to help their mental health
