Stop sending junk mail to people who have their email preferences set to NEVER
I have all my email preferences set to NEVER EMAIL ME. And yet junk mail from 7 Cups landed in my email inbox today. Not cool. As in, 'makes me want to stop coming here forever' type of not cool.
If you're not going to respect users wishes to not be contacted, why would you offer the option in the first place?

@consolas, sorry about the error. We recently made an update to our email notification system and it sounds like there is a bug.
Can you tell us which email you received? and we'll figure out what went wrong.
It was mail about my 'growth path', which has been set to NEVER notify me since the day I joined.
Yesterday I got the "Welcome to 7 cups" email again -- it was the third one. The first one, I expected since it was when I first joined. But I had no idea why I got the other two!

sorry about this glitch everyone.
i believe we have a fix in place for this but let me know if it persists.
