Apr 28: *Waves Goodbye to 7 Cups Coins* - Happening this week
For a long time, we have conceptualized using 7 Cups coins for community-related activities. Using them to exchange for small gifts or tokens which can be gifted to other users. As we have many other items on the agenda, this is not something we'll be developing in the immediate future. As coins can be confusing for new users and take up space on our dashboard, we will be removing them for now.
We will not turn off coins, so you will continue to earn them. They will simply not be shown on your profile or around 7 Cups. If and when we ever decide to bring them back, you'll have exactly what you would have if they were still around!

Really glad to hear this! I am all for removing anything that is obsolete, confusing and misleading or raises questions that people need to copy paste answers to over and over again although those answers are based on some assumptions and leave people even more confused. Thank you.
