July 12: New Sub-Community Page Designs!
Hi everyone!
Back in April, we announced that new subcommunity designs were being developed and we requested your feedback! You all provided a lot of helpful suggestions on how to best design these pages. We did our best to incorproate your ideas. And we are excited to show you the final result!
Please see the mock ups below for more information! We are planning to update these pages this week! Remember, like always we will continue to experiment and evolve layout, placement, content, etc! We encourage you to continue to share your feedback and ideas. Many of us will have more feedback once the udpate is live and we get to experience it for the first time!
We are hopeful you will love this change as much as us! Big shout out to @krinkthemellowunicorn for his work developing these mocks!!
Welcome pop-up that newbies will see -

Something to highlight in the below mock - check out the yellow bar! This bar will act as a tabbed section for specific information, including: leaders, chatrooms, resources, guidelines and forums! We hope this allows for easy navigation and a more effective use of space!

@Laura I love this!
I love that all the tabs will be on one page now. I remember how much trouble I had navigating through the site when I was new here. Kudos to the developers!
@Laura Absolutely Awesome design! The new format looks so much better in the terms of user friendliness. I know we all here truly appreciate the hard work that you put into the platform. Thank you!
@KingdomWorke rcan we chat
@Laura it's amazing! Can't wait to see it working
This is awesome
@Laura - let me jump in to reinforce that as always we will roll out these designs and notice and fix bugs (with your help!) and learn what works better or worse than before and experimenting with layout options and emphasis and so on.
As this design settles in we'll extend it into the sections related to each subcommunity (the rest of the forums, and everything else) over time.
With you help we keep figuring things out and pulling things into alignment.
@Laura Awesome work! :D
Navigation has definitely been an issue! I am hopeful that this will help!
