Member Email Verification Update - first week of June
Hello wonderful community!
As you know, we have been extra focused on safety in the community lately and we've already announced that all members are required to verify their emails to post in the forums. We are excited that this update will be applied to the group support rooms within the next day as well. All members will be prompted to verify their email addresses to access all of the forums as well as the group support rooms.
We recognize that this is a big change which is why we're being mindful to take this as a step-by-step process. As always, safety is a top priority and we are looking forward to seeing this update.

so my email verification link was in the spam box..??
is this normal or was it just me?
Pretty normal. 7 Cups sends mail from an automated system, and this can make it look like spam because it's not from a person. 7 Cups also sends actual spam at times, and after that happens everything 7 Cups sends can get treated as spam.

When did this email verification take effect? I dont get prompted to verify my email to post things.
@Kate Hey Kate! I don't know if you can control this but I wanted to ask that you mention the email verification might go to the spam folder. This happened to me and I kept trying different emails, rechecking my inbox over and over again.
How do I do the email verification I can't it hasn't been sent to my email and hasn't said anything about it

I also just realized you're a listener, your email was verfied when you signed up.
Looking for a long term friend. My name is Hallee boals and I am a complete mess, but I'm a good listener too. I don't have any real friends in my life except my significant other, which is great, but i just really want a best friend to talk to and to listen to.
