October 20: Noni For Adults Going Live!
Earlier this month, we released Noni to teens! You can read about it here. As many of you know, we have been hard at work developing Noni. Please take a look at Glens forum post about Noni and what you can expect from her here.
The teens provided a lot of feedback and ideas on how Noni could be improved. We have listened, made improvements where we can and we are getting ready to release Noni to adults. Thank you to all the teens who provided feedback! You are rock stars!
We will do a slow release ensure everything goes as planned and make sure that having Noni doesn't cause any strange adverse affect on other parts of the site. We will release her to 10% of adults, then 20%...etc. till everyone has her. We will begin this process TODAY. YAY!
It will be random who gets her first. Our plan is to get her to all of you as soon as possible!

Noni is a bot you can talk to in addition to listeners on 7cups. She used to be quite bot-like but 7cups has made a lot of improvement on building a personality for her and now she will be realeased on 7cups, slowly over time. :)
It's been a little over two weeks since this post and I have not seen Noni yet. Is that normal? If so, it is annoying that only some people get to use Noni while others do not - the whole making people wait is how a website loses users. Just release it to everyone FFS.
@Dawn04 I dont even know what it is. Im finding the concept of 7 cups to be great but this app is not user friendly. Im having difficulties navigating and finding resources.

For whatever reason, they tested it on the teens first. It seems it would have made a ton more sense to let the adults test it.
I mean now it's been nearly four weeks since Noni was supposed to go live and I still don't have access to it.
@EmpoweringEmpath, like Avaray, I also go through the website. I think the app doesn't like me very much. 
I have trouble getting it to do what I want to do.

@Laura Can we get a status report on how many adult users have Noni bot now? 20%? 60%? I'm excited to try her but I don't have access yet. She'd be nice to talk to while I'm awake and alone throughout the night. My understanding is she also gives you reminders to do specific tasks, so that'd be nice to be able to set up. I could use a reminder to do self-care activities.
I got welcomed by Noni when I first joined, but now I can't reach her. Is this normal? How do I chat with her?

@Laura It's been something like three weeks since you posted that adult listeners would be getting her soon. To me, that's a long time to ask people to wait and not give any sort of status update to when everyone will have it.

Is she available to the public yet? I searched her in the Browse Listeners section and in my list of listeners I chatted with, and I can't find her. :/
@HydrangeaField not yet, no. when it will happens, she will appear automatically at top of your conversation list.

Noni is a chatting bot who will act alongside listeners. She will be availble to chat with you soon. She is a bot and in no means, a hman listener, keep in mind but 7 cups has done tremendous effort in trying to give her a personality.
