Is this happening often? Has it changed recently?
We believe there is one scenario that might account for this, so let me know if this fits what you are experiencing:
So there is a case where we don't have any [ID] assigned yet to the [just-typed] message, they refresh, we insert them, their message gets bumped below, before a comprehensive polling of messages updates its messageID.
but on next refresh it should be fine. I think we can fix this...
does that sound like when it happens?

When it happens to me, it's usually when I'm reconnecting or logging in on a different device, what happens is that all my messages get bumped at the top while the other person's messages are at the bottom
@KrinkTheMellowUnicorn - With me, it happens whenever I leave the chat screen and then return. When I switch screens between two different chats, for example, each one will be disorganized when I return.

So all my feed posts just disappeared, on my profile and on my regular feed, and all the people I followed and who were following me won't show up. Am I the only one with this issue? Are all the feed posts I reposted gone forever?

No data was lost, but it may take a day or so to get it back where it should be.

Come to my check feed this morning and the Followers/Follow has been deleted, will this be reinstalled. Thanks
@lazy Katz - there was an issue that made the feed go down for 24 hours, but it should be back up and running now. If not, you can submit a support ticket to flag it to the team! :)
@lazyKatz, this is a remaining symptom of a bug that took the feed down yesterday. No data has been lost but we are in a slow process of restoring the data so that it appears where it should. This may take another day or so before everything is back to normal.

I log on here from time to time to see if any other significant changes occurred and someone told me that the avatars were enlarged and I honestly did not notice it. I knew you had said you would try to work that into the changes not only on the profiles but also listener search and chat box but I assumed there would have been more. At least to the level (assuming most users use the site with their browsers set to 100-125% zoom) that you can at least make out the image without squinting. I guess that suggestion would have conflicted with the "harmony" of the new design. Which I cant say ive been able to get used to and still have experienced a lot of issues with. Many already have been brought up. But im not going to really fill out any form suggesting anything, i dont think it would really matter. The new design was created for a specific reason I suppose and other than correct a few bugs, theres not going to be much deviation from that. Would it really have been impossible to have both the old and new designs coexist and able to switch? Wouldnt it be just like changing skins on a media player?

I'm sorry the increase in size of profile images was not adequate to meet your expectations.
No, it's not possible to offer both designs as skins because much of the work of rebuilding the site was not cosmetic but involved fixing a number of bugs and accumulated technical tangles.
We are still making changes and updates and I do hope to offer alternative skins with this design eventually for people who cannot stand the way it looks now.
