Sometime Back I asked myself what is Life?
I was answered by a corner of my mind. It reads
❤ "Life is Giving your Best ❤
❤ In what you Love ❤
❤ Even If it Fails ❤
❤ Don't Fear to Get Up." ❤
There's an Saying from a Chinese Military General Sun Tzu If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Well Most of us are Studying, And Trust me when I say that sometimes its really really tough, Sometimes it Just Goes over your head and you just wanna QUIT IT! Like I Have Had Enough of your BEEEP (CENSORED lol)
So here I came out with this crazy plan to ask you each and every one of you, Two Questions?
(Don't worry No-matter how old you are. You'll be able to answer cause I know that you have gone through phases sometime in your life. Dude its Normal!)
So I say to you, lets #FACEIT! Today here #RightNow!
Questions
>What is that Number 1 Problem YOU face when you are studying?(Mine Being Distraction)
>What is that Number 1 Fear YOU Have when the word study comes in your head?(Fear that I will end up doing nothing)
Ask yourself and when you get that RAW answer Post it out Here.
And as a Community we will face it.

I am a Parent,
And I think the single most problem I face with my daughter is her concentration problem,
cause she is easily distracted into something else.
Anyone can suggest me something here?
Thanks it would be great.
I'm not a parent, but I strongly believe my severe concentration problems developed from being allowed to watch tv for many hours as a young kid. Also, I've heard too much sugar and artificial foods can contribute to this problem. Have patience and hopefully you can find ways to help her through this. Best wishes to you both! :)
How old is y our daughter
@quietHickory7585 Friend thank you for sharing it with us, Concentration is a big issue
We as a community will be having a 7 day long community vide discussion starting from this Sunday 2nd of August on these problems a student faces.
I would request you to keep your journey with us and participate in that.
Thanks
Sam
I always try to be the best in everything. I know it's impossible but none of people who love me ever told me that I'm good at something.
@BlossomOfPeace I do.
As a Matter of Face this whole Community does.Its because if you were not good at listening to people, you would not have stayed with us after your first chat.
Its not very easy to get reviews, and as a matter of fact having 33 chats and 2 written reviews is really somthing, Dont you think friend.
HUGS!
BE HAPPY!
SAM
@Laura @Heather.
What is that Number 1 Problem you face when you are studying?
I get really bored easily on anything I don't enjoy, so certain subjects end up with little to no revision/study
What is that Number 1 Fear you Have when the word "study" comes in your head?
I fear that nothing will sink in or 'stick', and I'd have wasted all my time.
@Dovah
I have a study technique that really works for me. I have no idea whether it works for anyone else but it certainly helps me.
I'm an active studier. If I sat in a library and read all day, nothing sinks in. If I study while on an exercycle or throwing darts at a dartboard or juggling a soccer ball, it sinks in. I think the reason for that is two-fold.
Firstly, it breaks the reading into small chunks that I go over while I'm doing a physical task. I go over those small chunks and analyse them. I relate them to my experiences or things that I know and I can easily do that while doing a physical task at the same time. And, whatever I choose to do as the physical task is fun. That builds understanding and locks it in.
Secondly, "I'll read 50 pages of the Income Tax Act today" and sitting down drudging through it doesn't work for me because completing the 50 pages is a means to an end. Getting through those pages is all that matters and the mind wanders. Pretty soon you've spent 2 hours in front of book which contains nothing that you can recall.
Ah well.. that's my study tip :)
@Roadie - That's an amazing study tip, I'll be sure to apply it with some sort of activity I enjoy and see how things go!
My fear right now is to go no where after graduation my high school this year. Hopefully I'll get in college and specialize in what I want.
I hope you will find your dream in life, college is the time of discovery and becoming more mature and finding life goals.
My number one problem is procrastination when I need to do homework, study, etc.
My number one fear is being alone. I'm afraid to be by myself becuase my mind will begin saying all types of things that'll just make me cry. Not only that but when I feel/am alone I feel like I'm worthless and I drive others away from me.
@divinemind Friend thanks for participating.
Procrastination issues are really really bad.
However stay tuned next week at the discussion of these problems you might find your right answer.
Thanks so much!
I fear that this will break up our relationship, I have no options left, My Girlfriend thinks that if I go to another country to study, I will not be able to talk to her and all that she is blaming for for everything, and on the other hand my parents and telling me that I must go to pursue my studies.
I'm struck , I don't know what to do. I want to study but I don't want my Girlfriend to break up with me. She is the only thing close to my heart I have.Someone please help me.
Hey it will be alright. Have you tried comforting her in the sense of communication opportunities? Skype, texting, phone calls, email, letters, etc. Assuming she loves you, she wouldn't want to hold you back from your studies and it sems as though she is just trying to get around the thought of a long distance relationship or perhaps she is feeling insecure about your relationship. Either way you two should sit down and discuss how your relationship will work after you move. Maybe set boundaries/rules? Good luck to you and best wishes!
Wow this is great.
Okay so here is my thing like.
I Start my studies, what I like with great enthusiasm , but then after sometime I loose interest on it. And tend to leave it. It has always been an issue since childhood. Im 23 now, Uni Student. I wish I can get some help from here.
Thank you.
@IamRandy Friend I think you need a little bit motivation , a push this might help?
And thanks for participating. Buddy!
I know how you feel, I used to have this problem as well, sometimes you just get lazy and feel tired...I think it might be helpful if you study in this schedule (which helped me a lot) 20 min study - 10 min relaxing - 30 min study - 20 min relaxing - 40 min study - 30 min relaxing. It helps you think about the relaxing time you will have and motivate you to focus so that time passes by.
My number one fear I guess is taking it seriously. I feel like nothing is going to happen if I don't study that much or do all of my homework... etc. At the end I keep failing, not just because of my procastination but the problems in my house.
This past week i've put off studying by making excuses because there are other more "important" things. Really I just don't want to start an assignment and then find that there is a lot of research I need to do to complete it. I've spaced out my work into manageable daily pieces instead of overwhelming myself by doing everything all at once and not having any "time".
