I have tried to write a novel many times before, never got super far on any of them. I understand take inspection but don't feel pressured to write what anyone here says. Write about something you want to write about or it will be hard to stay motivated.

I have always found the idea of a modern world (ie 20th century tech and beyond) with fantasy races as a super cool idea. Like elves, orcs, goblin, ect and then a modern world that reflects how different races would shape it. There doesn't necessarily need to be magic but having it would be cool but make having a believable modern world hard to do.

I have tried to make one with this kinda of premise a couple of weeks agowith a 18 year old elf as the main character. I may or may not ever continue it tho? 

I posted the small written part on here but it's not that good and needs refinement.

Anyway hope something I said helped or was inspiring! I wish you luck on your novel! 🩵

I initially wanted to write a Webnovel, but got a reality check latter on. Although I have a rough outline of the story, I am considering not to write it. I come to realize that writing without a purpose and a message is no writing at all.

In future, I will try to write it but as I am now, I neither had any grand ideals nor truly profound messages that I Wanna tell the world.

The webnovel industry is already Saturated spicy stories with no real substance. I don't wanna waste my efforts by adding noise in already chaotic situation.

Sure, I like the idea of a college student finding their way through life and college through variety vivid experiences that are not taught in lecture rooms like how a traumatic experience can teach you like how tough life can be
