The Failure of asking for Prayer???
I've been trying to get over someone. I think about them all the time. I try to pray for them but I don't know what to say... I wish I could just stop thinking about them and move on...
I was using a prayer forum site dedicated to prayer. I was leaving prayer requests regarding this situation as well as others. But the website ended up making me upset. I even ended up blocking someone there. The only person on that site that would talk to me. Cause they were kinda a jerk. Finally I left the site completely.
I don't know what your spiritual views are, but I don't think A.I. has any right to be praying for us. Yet whoever created that site, built it so that everyone would get prayed for by two A.I.s Sadly those two A.I.s prayed better and shared scripture better than any human Christian has ever done for me online!
Right now I'm thinking to myself, I could sure use some prayer to calm my anxiety and fears. But I got nobody to pray with me. ☹️

@tryingtosurvive2024 Thank you for bringing this to the awareness of others (including myself). Even as a young adult, I have never heard of an AI being set up to "pray" for someone. That strikes me as very theologically wrong, and it sounds like to me you allowed the holy spirit to guide you into discerning that this is wrong and best I can tell from the scripture I know, useless for an AI to "pray" as technology does not have a soul and has no way to become saved and consequently receive the holy spirit. I do not think asking for prayer is a failure. This world is crazy and continues to get crazier, but God cares. Psalm 56 is kinda what feels like a kinda typical psalm of David saying how everything going wrong but he wants to rest in God, but in this chapter is a verse that helps me some. It's Psalms 56:8 (and this is in NLT) "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." I am someone who struggles to get over people, and I have some mental health problems, I can tend to think about those things and think God doesn't care, but looking at this verse and knowing he does care helps me at least a little bit. I hope you can find an in-person community to pray with you, maybe through church, maybe through something else. You have shown good discernment with this, and I encourage you to continue to use good discernment within online forums, in-person groups, or relationships. I will be praying for you.

@tryingtosurvive2024 Its difficult finding da words to say chattin’ to God at first but neither silently in yer mind or in a journal say da words dat Ya get in yer thoughts an instead of just sayin’/thinking it to yourself if theres things Ya would wanna say to da person write those words but say it to God as if Ya were sayin’ those words to yourself or to dat person. God will understand dat it c’n often be difficult chattin’ to him he knows this but in time as we get ourselves familiar wit da continuity of chattin’ to God it will soon become second nature.
@tryingtosurvive2024 Prayers your way. A prayer buddy, or group is always a wonderful thing. Your own individual prayers are of course very powerful. Having others praying for you is an amazing thing as well. Keeping a prayer journal has a lot of great benefits I find personally. A.I. has its benefits but lack a soul/spirit. I am a listener always open to Christian/spiritual based chats. And I've had a lot, and continue to pursue, of theological/Biblical training and can answer questions to the best of my knowledge.
