Lessons learned from therapy
Mental pain isn't always visible. Sometimes it's the weight of thoughts that never seem to stop, the sadness concealed beneath a grin, or the tiredness from acting as though nothing is wrong. People of all backgrounds are impacted by it, and it might manifest as anxiety, despair, grief, trauma, or just a feeling of helplessness.
It doesn't come with crutches or a cast like a broken bone does. However, it is real and needs attention. There are times we can help ourselves but also times we would greatly benefit from professional support.
Seeking assistance is not a sign of weakness. It's a self-serving commitment, a show of bravery, and a strong initiative to keep checking in on the most important person in your life—you! Even if your goal in life is to benefit others, by working on ourselves we are more able to be there for others.

Seeking Help
Mental stress can cause us not to be able to see the good things in life and lead to excessive rumination or worries which can result in serious health problems. If you have serious, long-term problems with negative thinking and feeling depressed, see your doctor or talk to a therapist if they are related to any mental challenges.

I manage my challenges daily but being honest.
Reaching out.
Not letting things build up or fester, this only allows a situation to escalate.
But not being self deprecating.
Sometimes we stand in our own way of healing and happiness 💕💜
How are you managing your challenges at the moment?
Not well at all.
Do you feel you need more support than you have right now?
Absolutely. And that's the problem. Services and people I thought would be there to support me letting me down when I need them most.
@amiablePeace77
I'm doing the only thing I can do, taking it day by day.
No, I do not have any support. I've given up trying to find a new therapist.

Sometimes taking day by day is the best way to go. Sorry to hear that you had so many difficulties to find a therapist. I wonder whether checking one of the therapists here would be an option?
@amiablePeace77
I have already looked into it. They do not accept my insurance. It always comes down to money. 😔
@amiablePeace77
How are you managing your challenges at the moment?
By accepting those challenges and seeing them as opportunities to grow and develop and improve myself as well as gain more knowledge and life lessons no matter what happens.
Do you feel you need more support than you have right now?
@amiablePeace77
i'm not quite sure, but i think, i try to calm myself down and decide after the tension is down a little.
not really, i think i do have quite enough support at the moment!
