Monitor your energy
In our lives we tend to suffer because we start to forget about looking after ourselves so we end up lacking energy and feeling tired, especially in hot summer weather.
There are a few things we can do just by checking our diet such as
Eating enough fruits, vegetables and protein
Taking your meals at regular times
Making sure to get the right amount of sleep
Avoiding too much caffeine particularly late in the day
Limit or avoid consumption of alcohol
Avoid too much sugar. High sugar consumption inhibits the production of Orexin, which is a chemical in your brain that stimulates the feeling of being awake.
Simply drinking a glass of water will give you a natural energy boost.
Sometimes, though, our diet and sleep are just right and we wonder what makes us feel exhausted. So here is something we can try to find out what the reasons could be.
Take your energy "temperature" at various points throughout the day, assigning it a number from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest energy level. Pay attention to the details of your day so you can identify the people or events that impact you the most.
When you surround yourself with positive influences you will feel more energised and motivated and less stressed.
Figure out what makes you feel alive and happy. Try out new things for a few times, maybe a new hobby, visiting new places even if it’s just in your surroundings or do some random acts of kindness like helping a neighbour. Keep trying these things a number of times and write down how they make you feel and if you have positive experiences continue to do them.
Take mini vacations to ensure that your energy levels stay high like unplugging from technical devices, get out in nature, give yourself permission to treat yourself for something nice (but still healthy).
How are your energy levels at the moment and what helps you to increase them?
If you have been extremely tired for 2 weeks or more, please reach out for guided help to check if there are any underlying causes. Various mental illnesses such as depression can cause fatigue.

Love the tips, Ami. Monitoring our energy levels is important indeed. ❤
I like the idea of taking the energy "temperature" and then meeting needs, if any, to fill the gaps.
I like how at first it talks about how we neglect ourselves with our busy lives and this is something we all do. I like how it talks about nutrition, noticing our energy temperature along with environmental factors. These are some things that we all are somehow aware of but we still neglect these sometimes.
One more thing I'd like to add here is to take some time out of your busy schedule to practice mindfulness. Just as we need sleep to rest our body to restore our energy, our brain and mind stay constantly aware even when in sleep so Mindfulness acts as a way of soothing and calming down your Brain so you can function better, just 3 times a day you could practice mindfulness in minor steps such as doing several deep breaths and relaxing your muscles a little.
One more thing I'd like to suggest is to practice journaling or sharing all the things you've been through the day, every day with a trusted friend, partner, the community and listeners here, or if you're not comfortable talking with people or writing down in a journal, then you could consider Talking and Making friends with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Companion through the app called 'Replika'.
