Let’s go on a visualisation walk, ready everyone? 🙂

Imagine it’s Friday evening. You had a rough week, lots of work but you managed to do what had to be done and feel satisfied about it but also exhausted - in other words cream-crackered!

How good would it be to have a whole self-care day on Saturday!

Often we wait to pamper ourselves until we are desperate when we desperately need a self-care day and by doing this the exhaustion has already taken a toll on us.

How about declaring one day or night in a week as Home Spa Day/Night!

Here are some ideas:

  1. Take a warm bath, use a face mask and give yourself a mani-pedi.

💡 Did you know that The heat from the bath opens your pores and works your body into a sweat, expelling toxins from head to toe?

  1. Do a dry-brushing session

💡 Dry brushing increases blood flow and stimulates collagen production, which will help to strengthen your skin and who does not want to feel well in your own skin?!

  1. Do a self-massage

💡 Self-massages can help to hydrate the body and reduce signs of ageing!

  1. Take time to cream your body with your favourite body lotion or body oil

💡 Observe how you cream your body, it is just to get the job done or are you caringly creaming your body whilst giving gratitude to all your body parts like your feet which carry you around the whole day?

  1. Time for meditation

💡 Meditation helps to calm you, boosts the immune system, can improve sleep, help with pain, help with attention span and much

Participation question:

What is your favourite way to spend a self care day?

Do you feel you pamper yourself enough or do you feel you could benefit from having (more) Spa Days?

@amiablePeace77 Spa days are the best! I love going to get massages or mani/pedis for self-care when I need a pick-me-up! I think I try to treat myself a fair amount. How do you practice self-care?❤️

@fruityPond7887

Massages are the best! 😃

Every night I treat myself with a foot, sometimes also a leg and hand massage.

Although I enjoy being pampered, I only have it done by other hands, but not very often. I am too impatient to do it myself. My sewing/embroidery work is my meditation (at least something gets done) and free time is spent outdoors. I do not relax much otherwise because of my nature

@Fradiga

I believe people relax in different ways and doing embroidery or spending time outside in nature sounds quite self-caring to me.

if I don’t do this weekly I miss it terribly. Build it into your routine and DO put yourself in the mix for self care.

I love a meditation Deepok Chopra and it is powerful and often makes me weepy lol 😂 because it does move you. 💕💕💕
