It was a big one in fact. When I went to stay in Japan in 1973, a family offered me room and board at no cost at all. I ended up staying three years altogether with them.

It's amazing how much kindness some people offer to others! It must have been really nice to stay there that you stayed with them for 3 years. Are you still in contact?

Yes, I am from time to time. They came to see me when I was living in White Plains, NY and we talk online otherwise.

What small act of kindness were you once shown that you will never forget?
I saw a lady with roses that was just trying to make some food money. I gave her a donation and she gave me a rose.

Some people have it so hard to earn some money to buy food. I hope many people gave her a donation so she could buy something to eat. Roses are beautiful flowers and if I remember well from a discussion your favorite flower right?

When I was stressed out and afraid, a 7cups member helped me.

I'm glad you got the help you needed at that time! Sometimes things just bulk up and one needs someone to talk.
